RD Technical Standard
- Rördesign develops and maintain a technical & administrative standard for use in detail design discipline mechanical & piping. The RD Technical Standard contains complete pipe classes in different materials, valve standards, support standards and other components usable for companies working within the process industries. RD Content Center Library
Rördesign has created a part library for the engineering tool Autodesk Inventor - RD Content Center Library. The library contains parts based on RD Technical Standard but also parts for other components and files for equipment. Rördesign develops and maintain the library continuously with new parts and files usable in detail design for discipline mechanical & piping. RD Isogen Output +
The application RD Isogen Output + is developed by Rördesign and makes it possible to transfer data from Autodesk Inventor Routed System to the engineering tool Intergraph SmartPlant Isometrics or Intergraph I-Run and create a complete pipe isometric drawing including dimensioned sketch, part list, process & piping reference data as well as document reference data. RD Isogen Output + consists of a .net add-in for Autodesk Inventor that makes it possible to create rich and high quality pcf-files which is mandatory for a top quality pipe isometric drawing. RD Isogen Output + makes it possible to design a pipe line in Inventor, import it to SmartPlant Isometric or IRun and create a complete pipe isometric drawing (file type dwg) in an efficient, quality secured way without any additional manual touch. RD Converter
The application RD Converter is developed by a partner to Rördesign and makes it possible to transfer the complete pipe line (pipe model) from Autodesk Inventor Routed System to SST Systems CAE-Pipe. Rördesign develops and maintain the application. The RD Converter convert the pcf-file created in Inventor to a mbf-file usable for CAEPipe. The RD Converter makes it possible to transfer the complete pipe model from Inventor to CAE-Pipe in an efficient, quality secured way. For more information, see Technical Specification RD Converter.
